NJ Red Decal Rules for New Drivers
Every NJ permit or probationary driver under 21 must display two red reflective GDL decals on any vehicle they drive: one on the top left corner of the front license plate and one on the top left corner of the rear plate. The decals come with the permit for $4, and extra pairs are $4 at any MVC Licensing Center.
