06 Jun Monroe High School Students Learn The Keys To Driving Safer
Students at Monroe High School were taught invaluable car-control skills from a team of certified high-performance driving instructors on Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, May 29th when they received a visit from Drive Safer. Students were given a hands-on assembly that included the use of high tech driving simulators which replicate real-world scenarios. Monroe High School Students were given a lesson on car-control vehicle dynamics and then got to apply what they had learned on the simulators.
The purpose of the Drive Safer program is to transfer professional driving experience onto our teens. Monroe High School students left the assembly with a broader knowledge of how their car operates, and how to better control their vehicle in the face of unexpected circumstances.
